UM OPTICS breaks through the bottleneck of calcium fluoride crystal growth process with the support of leading scientific and technological strength.

In this study, 8-inch <111> and <100> CaF2 single crystals were grown by the Bridgman method.

The crystals were complete in appearance and free of macroscopic defects such as cracks and scattering. Orientation cutting yielded transparent cylindrical crystal blanks with a diameter of 40 mm × 6 mm, and the blank samples were annealed twice and then polished to obtain the final samples.

The crystals maintained excellent homogeneity during the growth process.

Measurements of UV-VIS-NIR transmittance, optical uniformity, and average stress birefringence show that the transmittance at 200 nm reaches 90%, the average stress birefringence is less than 0.5 nm/cm, and the optical uniformity reaches 2.63 × 10-6. Its performance has been comprehensively improved.

As a leader in the industry, our division is always striving to improve the quality of our products to meet increasingly stringent industry standards. These crystals are characterized by high transmittance and high stability, and can be used in a wide range of optical applications.

We look forward to your inquiries and cooperation.
